The Sailors’ Club is an initiative by Saudade Sailing Club designed to bring you into the world of sailing in a safe, relaxed and progressive way.
It’s an experience designed for beginners, ideal for those who want to learn from scratch and experience the sea first-hand, without complications. Each month, you have the chance to step aboard, take an active part in sailing and take your first steps in this age-old discipline.
An experience designed for beginners without a licence
One of the great attractions of the Sailors’ Club is that it’s open to everyone interested in sailing, even if they have no experience or nautical licence. You don’t need to have sailed before, or to have any prior technical knowledge. All you need is the desire to learn, to discover something new and to enjoy the natural setting the sea offers us.
Each outing is a chance to switch off from daily routine, breathe fresh air and connect with an enriching activity. All in a safe, supportive environment, guided by professionals with extensive experience in sail training.
Progressive, varied training at your own pace
At the Sailors’ Club you won’t only enjoy the sea — you’ll also learn in a hands-on, continuous way. The programme is structured to offer progressive training, letting you take on nautical knowledge gradually, adapted to your level and pace of learning.
During the monthly outings you’ll receive training on different fundamental aspects of sailing. You’ll start with basic manoeuvres and, over time, acquire more advanced skills. You’ll learn, for example, how to hoist and trim the sails, how to steer, how to act in different wind conditions, and how to work as part of a crew. All while enjoying the privileged setting of the Valencia coast.
This variety of content will let you gain confidence, improve your skills on board and develop as an all-round sailor, without pressure and with the constant support of experienced instructors.
How does the Sailors’ Club work?
Being part of the Sailors’ Club is very simple. Once you sign up, you can choose your ideal day (weekdays or Saturdays) and book your place for the monthly outing. Activities take place at Marina Valencia Mar, a comfortable, well-equipped setting to welcome those starting out in sailing.
On the day of the outing, the boat will be ready to set sail and a professional skipper will be waiting to guide the activity. From the very first moment you’ll be involved in the sailing, learning by doing, sharing the day with other people interested in the sea and sailing.
As well as the monthly outings, as a club member you’ll be part of a growing nautical community, with access to content, news and experiences linked to the world of sailing.
What does membership include?
The Sailors’ Club offer is accessible, flexible and complete. For a fixed monthly fee of €75, with no joining fee and a minimum commitment of six months (the launch promo has a 3-month commitment), you get access to:
