What is Saudade Sailing Team?
Saudade Sailing Team is a project by Saudade Sailing Club and Velas Blancas Club that gives you the chance to learn, train and compete in the exciting world of sailing. The idea is to bring racing to everyone, whatever your previous level. You don’t need experience or a nautical licence; all you need is your passion for the sea and a desire to feel the thrill of competition.
Our goal is to create a training, collaborative environment that lets you gain new skills while enjoying the sport. If you’ve always dreamed of mastering the wind and the waves, now is the time to take the first step!
Weekly training with professionals
At Saudade Sailing Team, we believe the best way to learn is with constant practice. That’s why we organise hands-on training every week aboard our yacht “Aliz,” a Ro Náutica 265 that is fast, light and stable, ideal both for learning and for racing.
Training takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. You’ll be under the expert guidance of Rodolfo, our professional skipper with extensive experience in sailing competitions. During the sessions, you’ll learn to control the wind, trim the sails and execute key racing manoeuvres.
Over time, you’ll not only perfect your technical skills but also gain the confidence and ability to make quick, strategic decisions in the heat of competition.

Being part of Saudade Sailing Team is easy and accessible. We offer a six-month subscription with no joining fee, making it a flexible commitment. Plus, the kit is included, and you’ll receive a cap, t-shirt and technical gilet for your training.
Places are limited to 5 people per team, ensuring personalised attention and a collaborative, efficient training environment.

- If you’re already a member of our partner clubs Saudade or Velas Blancas, you’ll get a 20% discount on the monthly fee.
- You also have the option to share the subscription with another person, each paying 50%.
