The Valencia Boat Show was filled with nautical excitement thanks to a thrilling racing training session that left no one indifferent. On 1 November 2022, as part of the Valencia Boat Show, this eagerly awaited competition brought together participants and sea lovers in an unforgettable experience.
To ensure a top-level event, we had the presence of Pablo Aliaga, a renowned national race officer, who acted as judge of the training regatta, ensuring a fair and professional competition.
During the day, two thrilling windward-leeward races were held with two different classes: maxi and mini. The maxi class featured 40-foot yachts, while the mini class was made up of 30-foot yachts.
Excitement and strategy were present in every race, with the crews giving their best to show their skills on the water.
At the end of the day, it was time to reveal the results. Saudade’s Morrocoy stood out in the overall-combined and overall-maxi races, taking the winner’s title in both categories. A remarkable achievement that reflects the effort and commitment of the Saudade crew in every manoeuvre.
For its part, the As de Guía of 32 Cuartas took victory in the overall-mini race, showing its skill in handling 30-foot yachts.
This racing training session at the Valencia Boat Show was not only a chance to improve sailing skills and compete in an exceptional nautical setting, but also to share moments of camaraderie and a passion for the sea with other sailing enthusiasts.
