The magic of Christmas came to the sea with an exciting regatta in December. On Friday 23 December 2022, the Club held the last racing training session of the year, in an unforgettable day full of camaraderie and nautical passion.
The event was organised in partnership with 32 Cuartas and Servinnboard, joining forces to give sailors an exceptional experience on the water.
In total, 60 sailing enthusiasts joined the Christmas Regatta, making up five boats that set out to compete in this exciting event.
Race day offered ideal conditions for an exciting outing. Participants had the pleasure of sailing with steady winds all morning, allowing for a challenging, thrilling windward-leeward course.
The competition was full of exciting, strategic moments, with the crews giving their best to achieve a strong position in the race.
Once the competition was over, all the sailors gathered to celebrate the end of the season. In a festive, cheerful atmosphere, they shared a delicious paella and toasted the race winners.
This special event not only marked the end of the year at the Club, but also left a mark on the hearts of all the participants, who enjoyed their passion for sailing and the warmth of the festive season in a marine setting.
The Christmas Regatta was a true display of the spirit of companionship and friendship that prevails in the Club’s nautical community. It also highlighted the Club’s commitment to offering its members and participants high-quality nautical events and memorable experiences on the water.
With this exciting regatta, we said goodbye to a year full of unforgettable sailing and welcomed new marine adventures for the coming year.
