Saudade Sailing Club is a sailing club based in Valencia that offers its members different ways to live sailing. We have yachts in excellent condition, options for experienced sailors, options for those who want to start from scratch, and an environment where sailing also means learning, connecting with others and enjoying the sea with confidence.
At Saudade we’ve spent years building a community where sailing isn’t just heading out to sea, but learning, sharing and enjoying it with confidence.
We are one of the longest-running sailing clubs in the country. The project was born in 2009, with the aim of bringing sailing to more people through a more accessible, supported and flexible model. Over the years, Saudade grew into an established community, known for its personal approach, its experience and its way of understanding sailing as something to be shared.
What makes Saudade different is not only its fleet or its history, but the way it supports each person. Here it’s not just about heading out to sea, but doing so with well-maintained boats, professional backup, personal attention and a structure designed to make sailing simple, safe and enjoyable.

That’s why we promote a more mindful, more human and more sustainable way of sailing, where technique and enjoyment always go hand in hand.
Our home port is at Marina Valencia Mar, a privileged setting for sailing. Valencia offers more than 300 days of sunshine a year, good conditions for heading out to sea and an established nautical infrastructure. Add to that a vibrant city, with cultural, culinary and leisure options, that makes every day of sailing an even more complete experience.

At Saudade Sailing Club we work towards a cleaner world through actions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We focus on minimising our environmental impact — using biodegradable products, for example — and on raising awareness of the health of the seas, while ensuring a socially fair and ethical environment.
The Fundación Grano de Mostaza gives children from indigenous communities, low-income backgrounds and real social and economic disadvantage the opportunity to progress through access to education, encouraging them to stay in the education system in rural communities in the interior of Argentina.
Through our partnership agreement with Three Knots Magazine, we help spread awareness of the need to care for the marine environment, by sponsoring exhibitions and editorial publications.
